Real-world connection should feel natural again.

Most social apps are built for endless scrolling, posting and chasing attention. Krozd is built for the opposite: helping you find your people and your plans nearby, then getting out of the way.

Presence, not performance

Krozd is for going out and meeting people, not for building an audience. There’s no feed to scroll and no follower count to grow.

We’ll know it’s working when you walk into a gig, a run club or a board-game night already knowing someone there.

Why we’re building it

Building a social life in a city is hard, especially when you’ve just moved there. Something is happening every night: gigs, comedy, board-game cafés, run clubs, workshops, screenings. But going alone feels awkward, and most social apps turn people into profiles to swipe on.

Krozd starts from where people already are, and from what they actually go and do. It’s built first for young adults building a social life, often in a new city, so it favours the things that make joining in easy: meetups, games, classes and social nights.

A sanctuary, not a feed

The app is calm and curated on purpose: warm paper tones by day, deep charcoal by night, with gold accents. It’s meant to feel cinematic, not addictive. We’d rather you spend less time in Krozd and more time with people.

Built around your control

Discovery works with approximate location and low-power updates, and it never shows anyone where you are. You decide whether it’s off, on only while you use the app, or on occasionally in the background. Crossings only ever say that you’ve been around someone, never where.
